MOUD Services - Tacoma Fire Department CARES Mobile Response Unit & Safe Station Program
The Safe Station program is located at Fire Station 1. Program offers free opioid use disorder assessment and treatment for residents of Pierce County. Residents can call 253-534-8734 or walk-in to Fire Station access services. Program can provide individuals with their initial dose of Buprenorphine (Suboxone/Subutex), or Naltrexone (Vivitrol). Program will then connect individuals to long term care including medical care, outpatient services, and agency's that can prescribe opioid use disorder medication. Can provide a one time free transportation service to these locations if needed. Can offer Microdosing for Fentanyl use. All services are offered free of charge. Pregnant women are accepted and adolescents over the age of 15 are accepted with parental consent.
